EXPERIENCE YOU CAN TRUSTAirport Ranch is a family owned and operated winery and vineyard situated in the heart of the Yakima Valley – Washington State’s oldest established AVA. For four generations, our family has been farming in this region. We planted our first wine grapes in 1968, and today, our estate vineyard spans 830 acres and includes over 20 different varietals. The experience and knowledge gained over the years has helped us craft well-balanced wines reflecting great varietal expression and quality.
As the name suggests, Airport Ranch Estates has ties to aviation. Prior to our farming days, a portion of our property operated as a training base for hundreds of Army Air Corps pilots during World War II. After the war, we began farming in the outlying area. To this day, we continue to use a few of the original airplane hangars as farm storage facilities, and we strive to pay tribute to those WWII heroes and veterans of our country with our wide range of 100% estate grown wines. |

Marcus is the owner and head winemaker at Airport Ranch, representing the fourth generation of his family’s farming legacy. Together with his sister, he leads the business and oversees all vineyard and winery operations across the estate. Marcus guides long-term strategy, farming priorities, and winemaking direction, ensuring Airport Ranch continues to reflect the passion, innovation, and commitment to quality his family has cultivated for more than a century.

Travis MapleWINEMAKER
Travis is a Washington State University alumnus with a degree in Viticulture & Enology and over 20 years of experience in the Washington wine industry. His background spans vineyard management, cellar operations, blending, and production oversight, giving him deep, hands-on expertise from harvest to finished wine. At Airport Ranch, Travis guides winemaking and style development with a focus on expressing the character and strength of the Estate. His technical knowledge, sensory skill, and commitment to quality make him a key leader in shaping the wines and honoring the vineyard’s legacy.

Nancy CardenasSALES & MARKETING
Nancy is a U.S. Army veteran and WSU graduate with a degree in Digital Media Technology. She leads grape sales, bulk wine sales, and customer-facing communications for Airport Ranch, serving as the primary point of contact for bulk programs and custom bottling projects. Nancy also oversees marketing, photography, and social media, managing content and storytelling across the brand. She specializes in TTB compliance, COLA submissions, and packaging requirements, ensuring every project moves smoothly from planning to bottled wine.
